The Ethics Committee of the Grand Prize for Innovation: Product of the Year 2020 met on Thursday, September 12 in Barcelona to validate the candidatures of more than 100 products registered in 55 different categories. The Committee, the body in charge of ensuring transparency, impartiality and strict compliance with the contest regulations, is made up of the following professionals of recognized prestige in the academic field of marketing and innovation, independent of the brands: – Mr. Borja Martín – President (Professor of Customer Intelligence & Consumer Insights at Esade. The product of the year 2020 In this edition, a significant commitment by brands to healthy, ecological and vegan products is observed , as well as growth in the electro sector. During the month of December, the winning candidates in each of the categories will be announced, who will be the winners as "Product of the Year", and they will be able to use the logo that accredits them as such throughout the year 2020 in any communication action. . Record of categories on the 20th anniversary The objective of the “Product of the Year” contest, created in France in 1987, is to give the consumer a voice about the new products that are launched on the market each year . The Grand Prize for Innovation is currently present in more than 40 countries around the world under the same concept and logo and this year it celebrates its 20th anniversary in Spain.
